For the third time will be held in Slovakia the contest Slovak Woman of the Year 2011. At a press conference held on 24th March 2011 the weekly periodical Slovenka in cooperation with the RTVS presented this year’s nominated women. Patronage over the ceremony took again the spouse of the President of the Slovak Republic Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová. The inquiry has great resonance among readers and viewers. As stated by the Star production Director General Mrs. Mária Reháková, "last year voted 45-thousand viewers and readers in this inquiry. This year we have expanded the category health care. We have done this because the last two years of the existence of the Slovak Woman of the Year inquiry won always physicians. As you can see, the health care is close to our viewers and readers."
