On 18th January 2011 met the First Lady of Slovakia at the premises of the Presidential Palace in Bratislava spouses of the new ambassadors of India and Sweden to the Slovak Republic at the occasion of submission of letters of credence to the President of the Slovak Republic.

Mrs. Gašparovičová together with the wife of the Ambassador of India Mrs. Amit Misra discussed not only the beauty and spas and springs in Slovakia, but also the traditional Indian Ayurvedic and Indian tea. The First Lady also recalled her official visit to India in 2004 when she and her husband could admire many monuments and buildings especially in the city of Delhi. In addition, the ladies touched charitable activities, which the First Lady devotes. "Indeed, I am impressed by your involvement in the social field," said Mrs. Misra.

Mrs. Gun Setréus, wife of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Slovakia, was working with visually impaired children and youth for a number of years. Therefore, both ladies long discussed aid projects in particular for disabled children. Mrs. Setréus already was in Slovakia, but she wants to further explore deeper its beautiful landscapes.
