On behalf of the students thanked the head of state Eugen Hruška from the Gymnasium in Hlohovec, who won the most awards. He informed Mr. President that the Slovak students brought from the competitions 1 gold, 28 silver and 14 bronze medals. "The results of high school olympiads are one thing, but asserting of oneself in the society is an another," he complained to the head of state on behalf of his colleagues. He pointed out the fact that many talented students go abroad and don´t return back, so Slovakia loses its intelligence.
