During the ladies´ program Mrs. Margit Fischer and Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová visited the restored Bratislava castle. In addition to exposures of the Slovak National Museum they had the opportunity to see prestige facilities of the National Council of the Slovak Republic. The Bratislava castle is an important landmark of Bratislava. In 2008, began its last major renovation that restored the castle a rococo decoration and appearance, which gave the Bratislava castle Maria Theresa. First Ladies had the opportunity to view each stage of reconstruction of the castle during the exhibition titled ´Restoring the Bratislava Castle´.

Interestingly, the son of Maria Theresa, Joseph II. has established a general seminary in the castle, where among other priests studied the first codifier of Slovak literary language Anton Bernolák. After the death of the monarch in 1790 the seminary was closed and the castle was used as barracks.

Ladies viewed also the exhibition of the 2012 fire at the castle Krásna Hôrka, documenting the event and a ruined castle objects. The First Ladies could also see the transferred part of the Red Room and a lounge sofa of Mária Festetichová, as well as original dishes from the castle kitchen.
