I'm glad that people with a big heart still can be found, who are willing to help handicapped children."

The Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody through the project "Help for handicapped children in schools and at rehabilitation activities" bought for the school into this room a bubble column, a mirror ball, a reflector, an aromadifuser and a positioning bag. This project was carried out with financial support from the Slovenské elektrárne a. s., a member of Enel. As stated by the First Lady Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová, this is the second gift donated to the school through the Slovak Foundation of  Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody. "I know that many schools are struggling with a lack of funds and therefore they must seek ways to help children in their education. I am glad that through sponsors we could bring these children an innovative form of therapy in a comfortable environment. I firmly believe that this therapeutic room will help children with their rehabilitation and wellness activities."

The therapeutic room is important for students because it is used not only for therapy but also for education and leisure. The method "Snoezelen" allows searching for new forms of communication of children to express their own feelings. During sensory stimulation children are teached not only to perceive, but also to name what they feel.

The Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody is implementing a project to help handicapped children in schools and at rehabilitation activities since 2007. This project aims to improve the process of learning of disabled children, youth and students with learning disabilities.
