On 10 June 2012 prepared the National Transfusion Service of Slovakia a day in Bratislava full of good mood, fun and humor with the option to donate blood – to celebrate the World Blood Donors Day. This special day in Slovakia takes place under the auspices of the spouse of the President Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová. The motto of this year’s World Blood Donors Day is: "Every Blood Donor is a Hero."
First Lady of Slovakia also came in person to support blood donors. She thanked them for giving people in need the greatest gift – their own blood.
At this occasion the Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody donored to the National Transfusion Service of the Slovak Republic 13 vending machines to improve their care for blood donors. |
