On October 11, 2007 came for an official two-days-visit of the Slovak Republic president of Ukraine Viktor Juščenko with his spouse Katerina. At the courtyard of the President´s palace in Bratislava was the ukrainian presidential couple welcomed by the president of Slovakia Mr. Ivan Gašparovič together with his spouse Silvia.

After the official welcoming ceremony and a short meeting of both couples were bilateral documents signed. Ladies discussed during their separate programme charitable activities of their foundations Ukraine 3000 and Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody.

The First ladies enjoyed their common time not only in the Golden Room of the Grassalkovich palace. They attended also the Slovak National Gallery. In the Esterházy palace they could see two stand expositions – Gothic art of Slovakia and Baroque art in Slovakia – that really captured Mrs. Juščenko.
