PRESIDENT OF THE HELLENIC REPUBLIC WITH HIS WIFE ON AN OFFICIAL VISIT TO SLOVAKIA

After signing the guestbook and a tête-à-tête meeting of the presidential couples, First Ladies discussed in the Golden room of the Presidential Palace especially about the governments of both countries, about the current situation in Greece, but also about the position of women and their job skills at the high-level positions of companies.

As a part of the ladies' program First Lady of the Slovak Republic Mrs. Gašparovičová and First Lady of the Hellenic Republic Mrs. May Panou Papoulia visited the Elementary School and Nursery School for children and students with hearing handicap on Drotárska Street in Bratislava. Elementary school students prepared a very nice presentation for the first ladies, during which they danced and sang a song in sign language. First ladies were informed about history of the school during visit, as well as about the teaching functioning, which interactive illustration they had the opportunity to experience on themselves.
