Silvia Gašparovičová in her specific program at the official visit in Vietnam (13-19 October 2006) visited the Vietnam Women’s Museum, where the women’s participation in the Vietnam War was narrowed and presented. An interesting visit was to the Humanitarian Foundation, which cares for children affected by the particular result of the Vietnam War. Means for operating Foundation obtained from the state and various domestic and international institutions, and a significant support came from sponsors. She also visited the school for blind Nguyen Dinh Chienu.

Official visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam

Children from this school introduced themselves with quality music program. After viewing the school Mrs. Gašparovičová exchanged experiences with teachers and school staff. Students of this school are achieving excellent results and the number of blind people who receive a normal high school is steadily increasing.
