SLOVAK WOMAN OF THE YEAR 2013

The public inquiry Slovak Woman of the Year is a prestigious poll, which reveals and recognizes successful, talented and respected women who achieved outstanding results in various working areas and thereby encourage other women to better results.

26 ladies have been nominated in eight categories, for which the public could vote. In the category Healthcare won Eliška Kubíková, Head of the Department of Anatomy and Pro-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the Comenius University in Bratislava, who also became the absolute Slovak Woman of the Year 2013. The prize was personally handed over by Mrs. Gašparovičová.

In the category Arts and Culture was the most successful artist Mrs. Ivett Axamitová, in the category Business and Management received the most votes Director of the Center for International Legal Protection of Children and Youth Mrs. Andrea Cisárová. Psychologist and Chairwoman of the Management Board of the Krajina harmónie Foundation Mrs. Soňa Holúbková received the award in the category Charity, in the category Research won Mrs. Tatiana Štefanovičová – an archaeologist, historian and teacher. The most successful of the nominees in the category Education and the Promotion of Young Talents became the university professor Mrs. Anna Zuzana Dubničková, in the category Sport the Slovak representative in shotgun shooting Mrs. Zuzana Štefečková was awarded. In the category Media and Communication was the anchor Adela Banášová awarded.
