Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová welcomed in the President´s palace on 3rd October 2007 Mrs. Mimi Danihel from the U.S. who is an important supporter of several chartitative and medicine projects in Slovakia.
After the meeting in the President´s palace they visited the Children´s Cardiocenter at Limbová-street in Bratislava where medicine equipment at the intensive-care unit for the smallest children was buyed from the financial gift of Leo and Mimi Danihel.
After this meeting both ladies visited the National Oncological Institute at Klenová-street in Bratislava where a special ancillary equipment to the medical instrument to freeze liver metastases, ERBE Cryo C 6, which is already used in the National Oncological Institute was buyed for 6 million SKK from the financial gift of Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová and Mrs. Mimi Danihel. As both of them could see this instrument helped many patients with liver cancer to save or extend their lives.
