On 6 October 2011 spouse of the Slovak President Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová participated in the festive conference held on the occasion of the XX. anniversary of the Children’s Faculty Hospital (DFNsP) in the new premises on Kramáre in Bratislava. The conference was subtitled: "What gave the DFNsP to children in Bratislava in twenty years." On this occasion, the DFNsP Director Mr. Daniel Žitňan rendered to the Slovak First Lady and to other distinguished guests and hospital staff thanksgiving plaques.
First lady of Slovakia thanked for the award, which she really appreciates. The Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody also helped to improve the quality of treatment, medical care and health care facilities in the DFNsP. "Last year we bought for child cancer patients a linear syringe pump, a injection dispenser and other equipment necessary for the treatment of cancer," said the First Lady of Slovakia. She also thanked the hospital staff for their care, dedication and willingness that they pay to patients.
A major milestone in the history of the Children’s Faculty Hospital in Bratislava was the year 1991, when by the decision of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic it was established as a state contributory organization. In this year the DFNsP also moved to the new premises in Bratislava-Kramáre. |
