Junior Golfers Association of Slovakia (AJGOS) and the Private High School with the support of the Slovak Golf Association organized on 17 May 2012 on the golf course in Skalica the 1st year of the national competition Secondary Schools Golf Championship 2012.
The competition was attended by 80 children from 21 schools from Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The ´AJGOS Challenge Cup´ from the hands of the Slovak First Lady Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová got students from the Grammar School Česká in Bratislava. As Mrs. Gašparovičová said, "I believe that you played well and that success will bring you pleasure and the will to play even more better."
Oľga Prachařová was the best one among the girls and Alex Lužinský was the best boys´ player. Tournament results will be also included into the ranking of the Slovak Golf Association.
Junior Golfers Association of Slovakia (AJGOS) is a civic association, which aims to create favorable conditions for development of golf games for children and youth in Slovakia. It allows them to participate in tournaments, to improve gaming performance and increase capacity. |
