The Slovak First Lady accompanied by the Bratislava Region vice-administrator Mrs. Gabriella Németh and DSS Integra director Mrs. Renáta Balážová visited premises of the centre dedicated to various therapies. Also this time handicapped clients of the facility weren´t forgotten – the Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody donored to the DSS Integra the magnetotherapeutic device Biomag worth EUR 1,500, that will help mainly lying clients. "I am delighted that through this device the rehabilitation process of the residents of this special centre will improve, and thus we could at least help them alleviate their difficult fate," said the First Lady Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová.
Home of Social Services for Children and Adults Integra provides care to 38 immobile clients with severe mental and physical disabilities, and in many cases with sensory disabilities in daily, weekly and year-round residence, and to 12 clients with multiple disabilities in the detached workplace in Senec. It promotes innovative approaches to activities, using elements of art therapy, dramatotherapy, physical therapy and animal assisted therapy. Significantly is also the help of volunteers. |
