Thank of Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová

On January 25, 2006, Silvia Gašparovičová met representatives of institutions and companies that supported the activities of the First Lady and her foundation Education and Health for Everybody. In the Presidential Palace First Lady welcomed more than twenty distinguished guests whom she thanked for their help and cooperation in carrying out the program of the foundation. She informed them about projects that were during the last year successfully implemented. The most important project is undoubtedly the First Folk Academy in Kežmarok that helped fifteen long-term unemployed disabled women in their reintegration into society. Mother of a child with severe disabilities could through a fellowship received from the foundation of Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová attend an university, the foundation financially supported the Parental Center ´Macko´ (Teddy) in Bratislava-Dúbravka. In cooperation with the Office of Public Health the foundation launched a project of drinking regime in primary schools and supported the Dance Sport in Wheelchairs Association and the Association of Wheelchair Athletes.
