First Lady of Slovakia Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová on 19 April 2013 visited the United Boarding School at Svrčia Street in Bratislava, which provides education for visually impaired and blind children from all over the Slovakia. It was not her first visit at this school. "I’m glad I again visited you," said the First Lady of Slovakia. Students of the school showed to the rare visit their talent– they recited poems and sang a song.
Through the Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody, Mrs. Gašparovičová is in a long term supporting disabled children and adults in Slovakia. Therefore, on the occasion of the visit in the school, she rendered to the hands of the school director Mr. Jozef Šimko 2 portable handheld reading zoom lenses in the value of EUR 1.640, which will serve students in their learning process. "Even now I didn´t forget you. Thanks to our Foundation and with help from our partner we were able to buy equipment for you – I´m curious how these tools will assist you," said Mrs. Gašparovičová. Students than enthusiastic tried to work with the portable zoom lenses.
