On Friday 1st February 2007 visited Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová the second presentation and charity event of the company Motor-Car Banská Bystrica, car seller of Mercedes-Benz. The company decided to target this year´s presentation of a new car model of the class C on visually impaired and blind children. All begun in the darkness for getting the feelings these children have. Organizators – the company Motor-Car and Rotary Club – decided to organize an auction of art works anmd a raffle. The output of them was donored to the Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody for their charity projects.
The gain from an auction in the amount of 180.000,- SKK got the slovak First Lady who thanked organizers and all donors for support of thouse who need it the most. She highly appreciated the human idea of the event, especially the involvement of Mr. Peter Kunkela and Mrs. Gordana Turuk who donored several glass works of art for the auction.
Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová presented the using of the financial gift: A bigger part of the money will go to the Special School for Hearing Impaired Children in Bratislava – Karlova Ves for buying of special school tables.
A second part of the money will go to the Gymnasium of Mikuláš Kováč in Banská Bystrica for health gymnastics of their students – the children should learn to hold a healthy body position, how to relax or strengthen the muscles during lessons for precede bad degenerative changes.
She also presented the using of last year´s gain in the amount of 190.000,- SKK. Part of the money was used for buying of medicaments for Psoriasis Clubs in Slovakia and the foundation supported the founding of a helpline for victims of violence. |
