Spouse of the President of the Slovak Republic, who is also President of the Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody, appreciated young golfers in Bernolákovo. On the golf course Park Bernolákovo on 25 August 2011 was held the 4th annual children golf tournament Bernoláčik. The tournament, hosted by the village Bernolákovo and the Elementary School in Bernolákovo, was the second time held under the auspices of the First Lady Silvia Gašparovičová.
From the hands of the First Lady in the category A (children under 12 years, HCP 0-54) took awards Teodor Jendrišák, Jakub Liba and the winner Linda Ilavská; in the category B (13-14 years, HCP up to 36) won Dušan Polák. Mrs. Gašparovičová also handed over the award for the longest drive (Lukáš Zušťák) and shot nearest to pin (Michal Adamovič).
First Lady is pleased that the children spend their free time playing golf. She wished them many success in playing golf and a successful step into the new school year.
In a long-time Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová supports playing of golf by children and youth in Slovakia. In 2007 she founded the Junior Golfers Association of Slovakia (AJGOS), which creates favorable conditions for playing golf of children and youth. AJGOS allows them to participate in tournaments and to improve their game ability. It supports schools and school facilities that are creating possibilities to teach golf at children and youth. |
