First Lady went back into their schooltimes

On 14 June 2007 Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová agreed to go along with her husband to the opening of jubilee academy by the occasion of 70. anniversary of the foundation the Elementary school of Dr. Milan Hodža with infant school at Škarniclova-street in Bratislava.

The hall over-filled with many V.I.P. graduates and contemporary students welcomed warmly the presidential couple. In the festivity spoke first the President of the Slovak Republic, Mr. Ivan Gašparovič, afterwards also Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová. At this school spent the First Lady her schooltimes, at what she also remembered in her speech: „I experienced here lovely times, but also sometimes very hard minutes.“ She didn´t forget about her teachers: „It were teachers we loved, but also the less popular gave us very much.“ At the same time she wished the students energy for learning and the teachers strong nerves at education and teaching new generations of young people.
