On April 14, 2014 presented the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to Slovakia Mr. Mark Bailey his letters of credence to the President of the Slovak Republic Mr. Ivan Gašparovič. On this occasion, the spouse of the Slovak President Mrs. Gašparovičová met the wife of the new Ambassador Mrs. Raja Bailey.

Mrs. Gašparovičová met spouse of the new Canadian ambassador

During the talks in the Golden Room of the Presidential Palace the Slovak First Lady approached Mrs. Bailey the beauties of Slovakia. Spouse of the Canadian Ambassador appreciated especially the beauty of Bratislava, which she "fell in love" with and wants to visit it very often. Both ladies then also discussed their extensive charitable activities, particularly in the field of health promotion and cancer research.
