On Tuesday, 12 July 2005, the Chairwoman of the Silvia Gašparovičová Foundation – Education and Health for All presented Marián Hlasný, the General Manager of the Konica Minolta company in Slovakia, with a thanksgiving plaque for their support in the project of the First Public Academy in Kežmarok. The company have leased the Foundation two copy machines for the sheltered workshop of the Academy for free. The workshop will be employing fifteen graduates of the training “Education and training for business and employment”, who completed its theoretical part on 10 March 2005 by receiving certificates. The handicapped women will provide copying and printing services in the region of Kežmarok. The First Lady appreciated the company‘s co-operative approach and partnership with the Foundation.
