With Mrs. Halima Singhater-Jagne, the spouse of the Ambassador of the Republic of Gambia to the Slovak Republic, the First Lady of Slovakia discussed in particular the position of women in Gambia and Slovakia. It was very interesting to get acquainted with the dynamically changing situation in Gambia. In recent years, women in Gambia are increasingly moving into positions previously held only by men. This is evidenced by the fact that already 4 women are part of the government, including the Deputy Prime Minister. Even Mrs. Singhater-Jagne for several years held an important position in the financial sector.
