On 14 February 2008 on St. Valentine’s Day, was held in the Center for Housing Galan on Ivánska way in Bratislava the Valentine benefit concert ´... from heart to heart ...´ in honor and remembrance of Valentín Slovák, who founded the business tradition in the Galan family. At this benefit concert participated also the spouse of the Slovak President Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová.
At this charity concert performed nine young artists from the Western Slovak Region. Accompanying speech was hold by the writer Eva Šišková. During the concert 25 770,- SKK were collected into the Fund of Region’s Artists. Each of the performers received 2.000,- SKK from the Fund, 3.000,- SKK were donored singly to the individual art schools in Pezinok, Ivanka pri Dunaji, Bratislava – Hálkova 56 and Šamorín.
