On 22 October 2011 in Bratislava under the auspice of the Slovak First Lady Silvia Gašparovičová was held an international competition in dance sport and wheelchair dance sport, as well as in showdance wheelchair sport named Intercontinental Cup Integra 2011. Healthy dance couples and disabled dancers from 17 countries from around the world met together at the open championship to compete for recognition and valuable trophies in standard and latin-american dances.
The event personally attended also the First Lady of Slovakia, who also rendered trophies to winners in the category Wheelchairdance Amateurs – Latin-american Dances. The winners became the dance couple from Poland. All dancers with their beautiful dancing showed that disability and age do not matter.
