On 16 November 2012 Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová through her foundation Education and Health for Everybody donored to the Department of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology in the Children’s Faculty Hospital in Bratislava a next gift – an infusion pump worth EUR 1.000 to serve child cancer patients of this hospital.
Thanks to the proceeds from the charity concert Donovalyfest 2012 could the foundation again help those who need it most. As president of the Foundation Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová said, "I believe that this device helps in the treatment of child cancer patients." The handing over ceremony of the infusion pump was also attended by the Director of the Children’s Faculty Hospital in Bratislava Mr. Daniel Žitňan, who thanked the First Lady of Slovakia for repeated help to child cancer patients.
Mrs. Gašparovičová also visited the small patients of the department and wished them good health and strength in their brave fight with the disease. |
