Reception of the Swiss Confederation by the SR President

SR President Ivan Gasparovic had received in the Presidential Palace the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Swiss Confederation in the Slovak Republic Josef Aregger who had presented his credentials. Ivan Gasparovic is pleased that Switzerland had quickly filled the vacant post of ambassador to Slovakia, which in his opinion means that it is paying an immense importance to our mutual cooperation. Mr. Josef Aregger had praised the reforms Slovakia has recently undergone and had added that those may well serve as an example for his country, which will have to implement some of them as well. Slovak Republic in his view is becoming an attractive country and therefore he too, during his tenure in Slovakia, would like to make a contribution to intensifying our relations.
