Silvia Gašparovičová greeted the participants of the Congress of the Slovak Society of Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dermatology

On Thursday, 1 December 2005, First Lady of the Slovak Republic Silvia Gašparovičová greeted the participants of the 6th Congress of the Slovak Society of Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dermatology - Dermaparty 2005, patronage over which she took together with Professor Pavol Traubner. It was the sixth edition of this international congress which has always attracted a lot of interest of experts throughout Slovakia and a number of countries from all over the world. It is an occasion for experts to present results of their works as well as learn about some novelties from various countries.

„ Even though aesthetic and cosmetic dermatology is not a branch directly saving human lives, but I am convinced that it plays an important role in a modern man’s life. It can significantly improve one’s self-confidence; it can influence how one feels. That is to say, it can decisively influence the quality of life," said Silvia Gašparovičová in her address. In addition, she appreciated the fact that such an important event was held in Slovakia as it would help not only our dermatologists but also everybody, involved in cosmetic dermatology, and their patients and clients. In conclusion, she thanked the Congress organizers for successful preparation and interesting programme of the Congress. Finally, she wished all the participants that they bring back home a lot of stimulating knowledge which they could apply in their everyday work.
