On October 9 and 10, 2007 attended Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová the international book festival „BibliObraz 2007“ that was hol for the 3rd time in Moscow. Present were First Ladies from 8 countries of the Russian Federation and Europe. This year was dedicated to children and youth. Also the bookmark treasure and culture of many countries were presented.
The Slovak Republic was represented by slovak books for children and adults, as well as scientific toys and interactive presentation of slovak beauties. In several workshops was the book „Kocúr na kolieskových korčuliach“ (Cat with skates) presented at the attendance of Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová and Mrs. Ľudmila Putinová. Children should draw the cat from their imagine, could use books like building material for construction of houses. Part of the slovak presentation were also other activities showing forms and ways of interesting education.
On Wednesday, 10th October 2007, Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová attended the international conference „Youth Human and Contemporary Society – Rights and Responsibility“. In her speech she presented various forms of attracting literature for youth in Slovakia and in other countries. She suggested changes in stipulated obligatory literature in schools of different states in the globalizing world. Also that we have to find and realise a modern way of bringing near to children the huge historical literature in form of short contents and lower the growing educational ballast in multilingual preparation, informatics, as well as in science and specific subjects of secondary school students..
Mrs. Gašparovičová also showed the exit from this bad situation in Slovakia – preparing of a new and modern school law that will match the new challenges of the 21st century. |
