On October 16, 2007 took Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová part at the press conference that was hold at the occasion of the international conference „Domestic Violence – New Practice and New Legislation in Europe“. This conference took place during October 15 – 16, 2007 at Bratislava´s University of Law and the President of the Slovak Republic hold the auspice.
Mr. Jaroslav Ivor, dean of the Faculty of Law, sumed up the working and conference´ assets. Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová informed jurnalists about activities of her foundation Education and Health for Everybody by solving the problem of domestic violence´ victims. She stressed new possibilities for them – a new non-stop Help line Pink telephone (033/647 31 31, 02/52 44 22 11), victims possibility appeal the employees of the Point of First Contact in the hospital at Mickiewiczova-street in Bratislava, as well as the possibility of accommodation in the Crisis and Educational Centre.
Comparison of law regulations in Europe at the press conference took Mr. Jaroslav Fenyk. Spokesman of the Presidency of the Slovak Police (PZ SR) Mrs. Marta Bujňáková provided information and statistics about victims of domestic violence in Slovakia and Mr. Ladislav Vajzer, main specialist for methodics of the PZ SR for domestic violence, provided information about police´ ongoing in solving of cases of domestic violence. |
