On 7th May 2010 in the Arena Theatre in Bratislava was held for the 17th time the charity concert "Hearing by Heart“. The auspice held for the 5th time the spouse of the slovak President Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová.

17th charity concert Hearing by Heart

Organizers – the Foundation of Vlado Kulíšek Hearing by Heart and the Boarding Elementary School with Kindergarten for Children with Hearing Disability on Drotárska street in Bratislava – prepared for visitors speeches leading Slovak artists, dealing primarily non-verbal modes of art, as well as popular singers. The concert this year presented mime Vlado Kulíšek, files, deaf children, Richard Smatanová, acrobats Argolla Dance Productions, a clown or juggler Adrian playpen.

The concert was dedicated to deaf children and their parents from all over Slovakia. Proceeds from this concert will be used to assist in the education of deaf children in Slovakia.

Along with the concert on 7th and 8th May 2010 took place also the 18th annual Nationwide Festival of Spare-Artistic Activities, where deaf children and young people have the opportunity to show their artistic talents. Overall, the festival attended 143 children from schools for deaf children in whole Slovakia (Nitra, Kremnica, Lučenec, Levoča, Bratislava, Prešov).
