´Builders festival´ - also under this name is known by many the international fair Coneco. Even on this year’s 29th year on 1.-5.4.2008 there was no company in Slovakia, but also from abroad, that missed this fair. Together more than 900 exhibitors from 14 countries all over Europe, Canada and the Philippines presented their business. As in previous years also this year the international fair visited the slovak First Lady Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová.
As a former construction engineer Mrs. Gašparovičová likes new challenges and technologies. Coneco is one option for construction firms to obtain it. "I appreciate that this exhibition offers the possibility of presenting news, technologies and practices. Especially these details determine a trend, which the building in Slovakia will take." According to the Minister of Construction and Regional Development Mr. Marián Janušek is this international fair a good stimulus for discussion and professional contacts.
This year´s opening of the fair was very surprising especially for ministers. Mr. Marián Janušek and Mr. Ľubomír Jahnátek got put into their hands construction helmets and bricks. They had to use them in their work and should show what they are. They tried the work of their building colleagues together with Mr. Alexander Rozin. The building result was finally a wall.
Part of the trade fair in Incheba were also 2 conferences – Theory and Design of Building Structures and Marketing of Properties. |
