The Associated Boarding School for Deaf Children at Hrdličkova Street in Bratislava celebrated 175th anniversary of its founding. An this occasion took place on 15 December 2011 a pre-Christmas event called ´Christmas Dream 2011´. The children visited also the First Lady of Slovakia Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová, who prepared a Christmas gift for the kids.

The Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody rendered to this school donations totaling EUR 1,434 for improving education of children in kindergarten and primary school – e. g. a magnetic wall, various teaching aids, landing area – airbed necessary to teach physical education at school.

At the pre-Christmas event school head Mrs. Mária Beňová thanked all supporters of the school. The Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody since 2007 regularly supports handicapped children in schools in Slovakia by buying special school supplies.
