On 16 May 2013 First Lady of Slovakia Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová attended the opening ceremony of the European Day of Businesswomen and Manageresses in Bratislava. Mrs. Gašparovičová took over the patronage over the 3-day international meeting of women entrepreneurs and manageresses from all over Europe in Slovakia. "I´m pleased that in the middle of Europe such a significant event is hold. Program consisting of a broad forum of presentations and educational seminars will certainly be mutual beneficial to business of all involved. I´m pleased that the aim of the event is also to establish personal contacts of businesswomen from different countries to further develop cross-border business activities of women within the EU and the world," said Mrs. Gašparovičová.
At the event Top Centre of Businesswomen (TCP) Award was granted to Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová for her long-term support and cooperation with the TCP. First Lady of Slovakia is already 8 years the honorary president of the Top Centre of Businesswomen and supports women entrepreneurs in Slovakia in their business efforts. |
