Possibilities of education or support of youth – also these themes discussed on 2nd April 2009 the slovak First Lady Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová with the vicepresident for Europe of the Junior Chamber International Mrs. Sayanaa Lkhagvasuren, who visited our country for the first time. They also discussed cooperation possibilities between the Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody and the Junior Chamber International.
Slovakia became a member of the JCI in 2005. The aim of this organisation is to support young people in starting their business at the time of their university studies. As the JCI-vicepresident for Europe said, „education plays the key-role. We also stress youth to work on themselves. As they became successful businessmen they shouldn´t think only at themselves but also at the community they live in. Also they should render their know-how to others.“ Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová appreciated the possibilities that JCI gives not only to youth: „It´s great you support youth to change their ideas into real business and make them help others.“ She also presented Mrs. Lkhagvasuren some long-term projects of her foundation concerning education of long term unemployed, medically disabled or victims of domestic violence.
