On 2 September 2011 at the golf course in Skalica took place the charity golf tournament Drop of Hope Golf Cup under the auspices of the wife of the President of the Slovak Republic Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová. Financial proceeds from this tournament will be used for reconstruction and completion of the bone marrow transplant unit of the 2nd Child Clinic of the Children’s Faculty Hospital in Bratislava.

Drop of Hope Golf Cup under the auspice of the First Lady

Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová personally came to award winners of the tournament, who competed in teams by the system Texas Scramble on 18 holes. "I am very glad that with your participation you support our health care system and especially kids. Any help is very important." From all participating golf teams finally won a team led by Mrs. Iveta Malachovská.

First Lady supports in a long term hospitals and health facilities, including the Pediatric Oncology in Bratislava, through her Foundation Education and Health for Everybody.
