On 12 July 2011 the President’s spouse Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová met with spouses of new ambassadors of the Republic of Colombia and Bosnia and Herzegovina to Slovakia. Mrs. Myriam Hodges de Padilla, wife of the Colombian ambassador to Slovakia, was interested in the social sphere the First Lady of Slovakia is dedicated to. Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová acquainted her with the activities of the Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody. "We have several projects, we help handicapped and socially weaker people and also abused women," said at the meeting the First Lady of Slovakia. Silvia Gašparovičová presented Mrs. Padilla also beauties of Slovakia that she can visit both with her husband.
Along with Mrs. Andjelina Bilič, spouse of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Slovakia, the First Lady of Slovakia discussed in particular the complex situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mrs. Bilič was also interested in the development of Slovakia after the split of Czechoslovakia, as well as the activities of Mrs. Gašparovičová. "You have enormous scope of activities, that is truly remarkable and arduous," said Mrs. Bilič. |
