On 7 December 2012 First Lady of Slovakia Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová participated in the traditional charity gala Children to Children 2012, organized by the Dance Club Danube Bratislava and the Slovak Association of Wheelchair Dance Sport. "I am very glad that I can visit you again and I look forward to your dance performance on the home soil," said Silvia Gašparovičová. "At the same time I wish a big success in dance competitions to the dancers."
Through her Foundation Education and Health for Everybody Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová has supported in a long term disabled dancers in wheelchairs – by financial contributions for the purchase of a dance wheelchair, as well as sports activities at home and abroad. For her charitable activities and support of integrated dancers she was awarded by the Golden Heart 2012 award during the gala evening.
The wheelchair dancers didn´t forgot Mrs. Gašparovičová also this time. She donored EUR 1.000,- to the Slovak Association of Wheelchair Dance Sport for sports activities of disabled dancers. |
