It’s already 1 year that the First Lady of Slovakia Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová is holding the position of the honorary president of the Slovak Red Cross. On 25th February 2011 welcomed the First Lady representatives of the Slovak Red Cross at the Presidential Palace in Bratislava, who congratulated her to the recent significant life jubilee.

Also the new SRC secretary general was introduced to the First Lady of Slovakia. She, together with the SRC president Mrs. Helena Kobzová presented to Mrs. Gašparovičová plans and projects of the Red Cross in 2011, particularly the ongoing Valentine Blood Drop campaign and preparation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent World Day in Slovakia and the World Blood Donor Day.
