On Thursday 29th June 2006 Silvia Gašparovičová participated in the 12th year of the Construction Businesses Day associated with the announcement of the national competition Building of the Year 2006. Formal meeting associated with the opening of the Building of the Year 2006 exhibition was held in the new Slovak National Theatre building, which will soon officially become a dignified place not only for cultural events, but also a place for international congresses and seminars. The First Lady, accompanied by President of the Association of Construction Entrepreneurs of Slovakia Ing. Ján Majerský, inspected the exhibition of works nominated for the price Building of the Year 2006 and in his speech she congratulated the authors and constructors of the winning buildings.
She highlighted the fact that Slovakia has become a country of business companies of global importance, even in the building field. Finally, she wished all participant good business environment and economic performance not only beneficial for them and their employees, but also for the society as a whole. |
