Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová welcomed on 29th September 2008 in the Golden Room of the Presidential Palace the spouses of new ambassadors of Finland and Kazakhstan, as well as spouses of Irish and Brazilian new ambassador to Slovakia.
First Lady discussed with the spouse of the Finnish ambassador Mrs. Eeva Lisa Leino particular opportunities and job opportunities for the spouse of an ambassador. In many countries operates an association of spouses of diplomatic staff, which attempts to achieve compensation for spouses of diplomats to not "failure" in finance level.
Husband of the new Brazilian ambassador Mr. Julio Cezar Zelner Goncalves and Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová spoke not only about political issues, but also about the term of the President of Slovakia and Brazil. Mr. Julio Goncalves said that the current Brazilian president has a face of an Brazilian and is a president for the people. His top priority is to combat poverty. He was also interested in the history of our capital Bratislava.
Wife of the ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mrs. Gauhar Martajevna Karasheva was particularly interested in the beauty of Bratislava and presented to Mrs. Gašparovičová the city Astana - the capital of Kazakhstan that soon she and her husband will visit within the official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The husband of the Irish Ambassador, Mr. Michael Coll and the First Lady of Slovakia discussed the latest news of several legislation concerning women - mothers in Ireland and Slovakia. This area is Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová very strong interested in. Mr. Coll also praised the diligence and warmth of Slovaks working in Dublin, who significantly help the flowering of the Irish economy.
