Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová with her husband Mr. Ivan Gašparovič attended the Summit of the Presidents of the V4 countries in Poland's Wisla on July 2-3, 2013. After the welcoming ceremony presidents began plenary sittings and first ladies have launched a separate women's program. First Ladies were hosted in Poland by the spouse of the Polish President, Mrs Anna Komorowska, which prepared for the First Lady of Slovakia Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová and the first lady of Hungarian Mrs. Anita Herczegh rich and interesting program. In the beginning of the women's program First Ladies visited lace museum, which was established in 1962 in Koniaków. In the museum they saw many interesting exhibits such as tablecloths, curtains, collars and caps.
At the second day of separate women's program the first ladies transferred by helicopter to Krakow, where they visited the Wawel Royal Castle, learn about its history and admire the magnificent premises. Later in Krakow they join their husbands and together they visited the Basilica of St. Mary and Polish Art Gallery of 19 century in Cloth Hall founded in the Main Square. Official visit in Poland finished a dinner hosted by the President of the Republic of J. E. p. Bronislaw Komorowski and his wife, which took place in the Salt Mine in Wieliczka village. |
