On Wednesday, 13 July 2005, Silvia Gašparovičová and two members of the supervisory board of the Silva Gašparovičová Foundation – Education and Health for All delivered an award to the Head of the Taiwan Diplomatic Mission to the Slovak Republic, Peter Chen, for financial support of the Foundation. Under agreement with the representatives of the Foundation, the mission provided US$ 1 000 to the Slovak Union of Wheelchair Sport Dancers. Having received SKK 50 000 from the Foundation last month, the Union will use the financial gift for the purchase of a sport dance wheelchair. The prof. Karol Matulay Social Services Centre in the district of Dúbravka in Bratislava will be granted US$ 1 000 for the purchase of a relaxing chair.
