On 16th April 2011 in Bratislava´s Arena Theatre was held the benefit concert "Hearing by Heart" for deaf children. For the 6th time was this event held under the auspice of the First Lady Silvia Gašparovičová. "In a long term I support deaf, blind and disabled children. Every year through my Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody I try to purchase special teaching aids such as interactive boards or software, and we have also helped to rebuild school premises."
This charity concert is each year organized by the Vlado Kulíšek Foundation – Hearing by Heart. As stated by the organizer Vlado Kulíšek, "this year, the concert achieved adulthood. Already for 18 years we are organizing this event, which is part of the artistic festival of hearing impaired children. I dare to say that our event is really mature," said Vlado Kulíšek.
Even though children can not fully enjoy one of the senses – hearing, they are listening to the concert otherwise – with their hearts. Among the performers were deaf children, who showed their abilities, but also artists and singers like Monica Bagárová, Duo Ogor, Dea Men and others. |
