On 22 June 2012 in the Palfy Palace in Bratislava was for the 6th time held the festive ceremony of the nationwide competition Creative Young Entrepreneur 2012, which was attended also by the First Lady of Slovakia Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová.
Aim of the competition was to highlight and to present to the general public creative, innovative young Slovak entrepreneurs who are successful in their business. They also can inspire young people to become entrepreneurs and to transform their ideas into reality. "Due to my personal experience I know that being a tradesman or found a start-up is not easy. However, examples of all the nominees in this competition we can see that we still in Slovakia have clever and courageous young people, who regardless of obstacles go for their goals. I believe that your business stories will inspire other young people – students or unemployed – so they will try to start a business in an area that is close to them and so their ideas will be translated into business," said at beginning of the event the Slovak First Lady.
The event committee has selected five finalists from 54 companies. The absolute winner and holder of the main prize became Ladislav Gažo, who in its business focuses on healthty stays in pure nature for clients from big cities and offers also services of a personal trainer. Along with him in international competition Creative Young Entrepreneur Award 2012 will Slovakia represent also Miroslav Gajdoš and Andrea Talavašková.
Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová also awarded the First Lady of the Slovak Republic Prize to one of the nominated young women entrepreneurs, that is unique, has a domain in her business field and that brought the most innovative approach to business. The winner became Mrs. Kristína Ilászová, who is doing business with virtual media products. |
