Spouse of the slovak president Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová is a successful notability of Slovakia. Not only about her personal life but also about her activities and position as the First Lady of Slovakia you can read in the publication „Top 37 Women of Slovakia“. Symbolic it was baptized on 22nd April 2009 by our golden olympian Michal Martikán. Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová thanked the author of this publication for using this form of presentation of successful slovak women. „People can learn much more about successful men than women. The achievement of women is much more valuable due to their duties in personal family life. I´m glad we don´t forget about them, even if they came from the science, sport, health service or third sector.“
Ladies in the publication were selected by a team of men. This jury had a very hard job because of the fact that in Slovakia many women should be honoured in this way. As they said, their choice of the best ones is great.
