The Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody on 27th September 2010 donored to the Slovak Chamber of Nurses and Midwives 4 laptops.

Computers for nurses

The Slovak Chamber of Nurses and Midwives will use the laptops for better assess of the continuing education of nurses and midwives in its project of evaluation of continuing education that the Chamber now implements. In this project, the Chamber has set up 7 regional centers in Slovakia. Since evaluation is a process which carries a person – the evaluator through the electronic portal – the laptop and internet access is a necessity.

The effort of the Chamber is that nurses and midwives do not have to travel too far for the evaluator. Based on a large number of nurses in Slovakia, where the evaluation is needed, more laptops are needed than expected – the chamber needs more PC´s than can be purchased from the EU structural funds project. They are therefore very grateful that the Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody helped them in solving this problem.
