First Lady of Slovakia Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová met on 23th March 2011 at the Presidential Palace in Bratislava representatives of the International Women’s Club of Bratislava (IWCB). At this occasion club president Mrs. Crystal Marie Pavelcik solemnly handed over to Mrs. Gašparovičová the certificate of honorary membership in the International Women’s Club in Bratislava for the year 2011.

First lady is an honorary member of the IWCB for the year 2011

Club celebrates this year its 20th anniversary and on this occasion it handed over 10 honorary memberships for the year 2011. Mrs. Gašparovičová supports in a long term charitable activities of the club, such as the traditional charity Christmas Bazaar and is since 2005 an honorary member of the club.

Since 1991 the International Women’s Club in Bratislava brings together women living in Slovakia, married or unmarried, young or young at heart, mothers, working women and housewives – more than 240 women from 40 countries, including Slovakia. Members are often the wives of ambassadors of different countries to Slovakia.
