Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová donored an interactive whiteboard

Spouse of the President Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová visited on 25 January 2012 the Primary Boarding School with Kindergarten for Children and Pupils with Hearing Impairments at Drotárska cesta in Bratislava. Headmistress Mrs. Ľubica Jägrová informed the First Lady of Slovakia not only about school activities and achievements, but also about plans for the future.

During the visit Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová rendered to the school a gift – an interactive whiteboard with accessories. "I firmly believe that this interactive whiteboard will you, dear teachers, make the teaching process at least a bit easier," said the First Lady of Slovakia. Pupils of the second school year showed Mrs. Gašparovičová the work with the interactive board in learnig Slovak language. The Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody purchased this gift thanks to the sponsor Slovenské elektrárne, a.s., member of Enel Group.

The Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody is running its project Help for Disabled Children in Schools and at Rehabilitation Activities since 2007. The aim of this long term project is to improve the education process of disabled children and young people with learning, visual or hearing impairments, movement improvement, improvement of physical disability and to increase chances of physically disabled pupils and students to pursue their life and be successful at the labour market.
