Already 60 years many families get it at home – the speech is about the Slovenka magazine, which celebrated a beautiful anniversary this year. Among congratulants at the Main Square in Bratislava on 20 May 2008 was also the spouse of President of Slovakia Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová. As she said, it is impressive to celebrate such anniversary of living of humans, and so it is with the magazine. "Since its inception it was almost in every household. His name clearly indicated, to whom it is intended: to slovakian women. However, it also found a place among men." Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová wished the journal much success and plenty of readers in the future.
Slovenka magazine since its inception has undergone various changes. It adapted to a time trend, responded and responds to current needs. Even in this difficult period Slovenka was able to maintain its face. Many people may turn their petitions to this magazine also today.
During the celebrations also many things were tryied and interesting was the record in eating of sheepcheese gnocchi. Everybody who tasted, was involved into the so-called Biggest Gnocchi Party in Slovakia. According to the organizers people ate 1723 servings. |
