On February 2, 2008 took place under the piste „Nová hoľa“ in Park Snow Donovaly the 2nd winter music festival DONOVALY FEST 2008. The auspice over this charity festival was held by the First Lady of Slovakia Mrs. Silvia Gašparovičová.
The gain from this event was also this year donated to the Clinic of Children Oncology at Children´s Hospital in Banská Bystrica. The amount of 100 000,- SKK was collected from young visitors of the festival. Cheque with this sum was personally rendered from the First Lady.
This charity evening culminated with an other surprise – at the festival were other 35 000,- SKK collected. The organizers decided to render this sum to the Slovak Foundation of Silvia Gašparovičová – Education and Health for Everybody that will use it for buying a diagnostic maschine for oncologic children in Košice. |
